Overview: First and foremost, the conceptualization and albumization behind this record are incredibly well-planned and executed. From there, the songs are quite good, but not amazing. There are a lot of well done instrumentals and paired vocal melodies, but we didn’t find that they were particularly infectious or alluring– just simply enjoyable. This is certainly a good thing, but it doesn’t push this album over the top. If you like themed, flowing progressive rock albums, this is the thing for you. If you like simple music that doesn’t take much thought to understand, then you probably won’t enjoy this.
