Atlas Sound
VIMTV Album Review #417: Atlas Sound – Parallax
Jake: Recommended, 81/100
Tom: Recommended, 83/100
Verdict: A terrific and more focused album for Bradford Cox.
Overview: Bradford Cox, as Atlas Sound, returns once again with a wonderfully consistent album. Are you surprised? We’re not. But still, the way in which Cox approaches his sound on Parallax is much more honest and personal than we’ve heard from him before. This is a great album and one of the best of 2011.

VIMTV Episode #64: Atlas Sound – Logos
Jake: Recommended, 73/100
Tom: Recommended, 71/100
Overview: As Bradford Cox of Deerhunter’s second solo effort, this album is good. Not fantastic, and certainly a stretch for most people’s style, but still a good album. “Logos” is mostly atmospheric and mood based, which is enhanced due to the fact that song structure and vocal presence is usually very relaxed.
