Overview: This is Beck’s downer album; the album where fans get to see the personal side of the man, Beck Hansen, come out to the forefront.  Sea Change was written in about two weeks after a Beck supposedly got out of a relationship and boy does it show.  Most of these songs are dark, acoustic songs and with the help of producer Nigel Goderich, they’re atmospheric as hell.  This is easily one of Jake and Tom’s favorites and is highly recommended by VIMTV.

Recommended Similar Artists: Clem Snide, Bends-era Radiohead… but nothing really sounds like Beck in music.
