Overview: On this album, Big Boi pretty much came along and showed everyone how modern rap should be done. The lyrics are witty and conversational, there are some killer instrumentals (trombone and guitar!), and not a weak track in sight. While this all sounds very unconventional in today’s rap world, Big Boi is able to take these unique aspects and produce them in way that fits with the current hip-hop trends. This is one of the best rap albums to come out in a long time, and certainly worth checking out.
