Overview: Destroyer of the Void is a classic case of a set of well-written songs that, while they stand alone, don’t really come together to make a connected, album atmosphere. However, these each of these tracks has a different style to offer, which is an admirable trait for the individual tracks, but makes the album a bit messy. Also, while the genre jumping is executed well, they’re styles that have been done before. Still, the amount of tight songwriting that is on this album simply can’t be ignored.
