Overview: On this album, Crystal Castles takes their noisy, creepy dance sound and drags it out. The lyrics and the overall mood are cool, but everything else seems quite forced and disparate. If things sounded a bit more planned out, tightened up, and there was more variety in the beats, this would be quite an alluring album. But without those factors, it’s just not there.
