Overview: With “Tweekend,” The Crystal Method takes fast-paced beats and layers them with in-your-face, techno melodies. This album is largely sample based rather than being purely electronica, and while the chaotic whirlwind of sound is a lot of fun to get wrapped up in, there is more to be desired from the songwriting aspect. Regardless, this album is all about mood and will get you pumped up in a way that not many albums can.
