Overview: Deathspell Omega’s “Paracletus” is a fantastic, progressive black metal album. The screaming vocals reinforce the instrumentals rather than take away from them, and there are constantly gems of phenomenal musicality to be found within the interplay of the drums, guitar, and bass. Definitely recommended to anyone who enjoys heavy music.
