Overview: ”Lost Souls” is Doves’ first album, and wow is it a hell of a debut. It’s much more ambient, moody, and dark than their subsequent releases, which gives it a creepy-yet-alluring flow. This album is a personal favorite of Jake’s, and will be one of Tom’s. This is highly recommended by both the guys: the only disclaimer is that you should make sure you listen to it on a rainy day or when you’re in a calm, introspective mood. Mood is everything for this album, and that depends heavily on the mood of the listener!
