Overview: As The Ex’s first album with a new singer, Catch My Shoe feels very comfortable and familiar in all the right ways, and jarring in all the right places. The new lineup gels very well, and there is some terrific energy, builds, and overall instrumentals on this album. The only downfall is that with only nine tracks, there are some that just don’t live up to the rest, bringing this album down into the 70s for us, but still a very good listen.
