Verdict: Definitely recommended if you like melodic, intense guitars and screamed vocals in more of a punk style.

Overview: David Comes To Life shows great songwriting and instrumental chops with conceptual, storytelling lyrics. Where these aspects tend to turn sour on this album is the fact that the instrumentals on each track, while good individually, carry close to the same intensity and make the 70+ minutes of the record get a bit old. Also, the music doesn’t match the ups and downs of the story itself. Still, this album shows a lot of talent and will be a rewarding and fun listen to anyone who enjoys the style.
