Verdict: Recommended if you enjoy very well-produced, modern hip-hop, and can get into Jay-Z and Kanye’s vocal styles.

Overview: While we were hoping for something a bit more focused and conceptual, Watch The Throne is still a very impressive hip-hop record. Jay-Z and Kanye West balance each other out quite well, making for a true collaboration that is better than the sum of its parts. There’s still the occasional cringe-worthy line, and a few weaker tracks, but overall this is going to be a rewarding listen for fans of either artist, or fans of rap in general.
