Overview: Jonsi has truly created a spectacularly colorful and aesthetic album. The songs are so dark at the core yet are produced in a bright, sparkly way that creates a dual mood. In that way, Go acts as an emotional chameleon– if you’re listening to it while you’re sad, it will sound sad; if you listen to it while you’re happy, it will be the most uplifting and inspiring experience you may ever have. For that reason, Go requires an honest emotional investment from the listener, and you’re not feeling it, it probably isn’t for you. However, for those who enjoy that ride, listen to this album. A lot.
