The Kills

VIMTV Album Review #318: The Kills – Blood Pressures

Jake:  85/100

Tom:  83/100

Overview: On Blood Pressures, The Kills have done something that every artist should aspire for: make an album without a bad song on it. The consistency of this album makes it a very fluid and enjoyable listen, and a step in the right direction for The Kills. This doesn’t mean that the album is mind-blowing, however. It’s quite good, but not incredible. For us, they could have gotten a little more ambitious and improved the dynamics a bit (this album never really goes as wild as we would have liked).
