Overview: Lykke Li’s Wounded Rhymes is terrific pop songwriting portrayed in a shroud of dark lyrics and production. What really makes this album great is that pretty much every track is a standout, and Lykke Li’s attitude is so confidently morose that you can’t help but love it. The one downfall is that this record, while the style is fresh, the songs themselves become a bit predictable. Still a fantastic listen!
