Overview: You can tell right away that Hidden is an album that took a lot of forethought and planning to make. Everything is so clear cut, the production is crisp and thick, and the instrumentals are precise throughout. The drums, especially, are so apocalyptic and crazy that they help create a frantic, dark, anxious mood through the entire album. So while the sound is terrific, the songwriting quality doesn’t always match up, and the emotional appeal doesn’t always have a clear focus. Still, this album certainly has more positive qualities than negative, and we really believe that this band will be one to watch.
