WU LYF

VIMTV Album Review #375: WU LYF – Go Tell Fire To The Mountain

Jake: 55/100

Tom: 64/100

Verdict:  Recommended if you feel like you need to keep up with the obscure indie scene. Otherwise, it’s probably passable.

Overview: The debut album from this mysterious British group has a very fresh and energetic sound, but it’s one that becomes a bit stale by the end of the album. While this will make any one track sound impressive on its own, the songs dilute each other and the magic wears thin about halfway through. Still a decent album for the style and musicianship, but the songwriting and production get tiresome.
